Hi everybody, Dr. Ryno here. Today we are going to be demonstrating the cat-cow exercise. We’re going to have Caitlin get on all fours here. Knees are going to go under the hips, and wrists are going to go under the shoulders. She’s going to turn her hands in just a little bit to create some stability. From this point, we’re going to have Caitlin lift her head and drop this mid-back. In the next movement, she’ll tuck her head and raise her upper back as high as she can go. Now to guide the person doing this exercise, you can always say, “Look up to the ceiling and look down to the knees.” And that’s your cat-cow exercise.
