Sick & Tired of being Sick & Tired

You know the people; your family members, friends, or even co-workers! All they do is complain about how they are sick and tired of being sick and tired! These are the same people who never take action to improve their health!

Let’s take a quick look here at what it means to be healthy, since we all know that would be the opposite of sick.

Health is complicated. Most people would say that you are healthy if you don’t have any symptoms. This can be true, but is only part of the story. Ever since 1946 the Word Health Organization said “health is a state of complete physical, social and mental well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” I’m not one to trust everything I hear from the WHO, but in this case I can agree with them. What that statement means to me, and maybe a little easier to understand is that you are healthy when you are able to handle any stress (3 T’s: trauma, toxins, thought) that comes your way and become stronger because of it.

As you know there are a few fundamental actions steps you have to take if you are truly sick and tired of being sick and tired. Below are steps that I take in order to be healthy, energized, and stay ahead of the 3 T’s:

Chiropractic care: It is our mission at Ryno Family Chiropractic to provide a foundation to health through Chiropractic care. Since our nervous system controls our entire body we must keep it functioning at it’s best through regular Chiropractic care. It is the foundation.

Trauma: I personally like high intensity exercise and find that it keeps the trauma stress down for my body, by staying in shape and strong. Movement is life.

Toxins: I choose to not put anything in my body that comes from a pharmaceutical company (pill, vaccines). When I need to clean out my body of toxins that I accumulate, such as from food, I like to supplement with chlorella or do a juice cleanse.

Thoughts: Breathing, meditation, affirmations, and goal setting are all ways to keep your mental stress levels down and focused on being your best!
